Have you heard about Blackjack Hall of Fame?

ico_arrow Spanish 21

The game known as Spanish 21 goes by a variety of other names, such as Pontoon in Australia and Malaysia. The game offers a much better set of odds for those who like to place bets, making it a popular form of Blackjack. Of course, the odds are not the only things that have changed. Several of the rules have been adjusted or altered to accommodate the different play style.

To begin with, Spanish 21 is usually played with either 6 or 8 decks of cards, each consisting of 48 cards each. The change comes from the fact that the ten cards have been removed from the deck. Those who are well-versed in advanced Blackjack strategy know that this single move can drastically affect the outcome of the game. Even though this rule changes the odds in a dramatic way, there are other rules that have been implemented in favor of the player.

For example, you can split after a double, re-split your aces, or perform a late surrender. Also, anyone who has 21 points wins, and a dealer Blackjack can be defeated with a Blackjack from a player. Players are able to double any of cards that they want, and they are often allowed to hit or double down after they have split their aces.

Anyone who wants to surrender after they have doubling is allowed to do so, but they will lose the same amount as their initial bet. Special bonuses apply for getting a 21 with a certain number of cards: three to two payout for a five-cards, two to one for six cards totaling 21, and three to one for seven cards that equal 21 points. Please note that the extra payout is nullified if the player splits or doubles.

Other Rules

Now, these rules may vary from country to country, so be sure that you are aware of the exact rules that are being implemented in your game. For example, the number of points that decides when a dealer hits can vary. Most of the time, the point value is decided at 17, but whether they hit or stand depends on the casino's rules. Also, the number of decks used will vary from either six or eight. Finally, the number of times that you can double is determined by the rules of the casino as well.

No matter where you play, Spanish 21 is a fun and interesting spin on Blackjack. If you have been looking for something new and fresh, it may be the game you have been looking for. Remember that it is also called Pontoon in some areas, but be sure to look for it and check it out.
